Short rules
for ordering.
By placing an order with Tohfa you're agreeing to these. Nothing unusual.
Who this is between
“Tohfa” means Tohfa Custom Gifts, operated from Vancouver, British Columbia. “You” means the person or business placing an order or using this site.
Orders and payment
- All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD).
- Applicable sales tax (GST/PST) is added at checkout where required.
- Payment is processed by Stripe at the time you place the order.
- An order is accepted when we send you a confirmation email. If something on our end goes wrong, a product we can't source, an address we can't deliver to, we'll refund you in full.
Cancellation
You can cancel a standard order for a full refund anytime before we start packing it, typically within 12 hours of ordering. Once we've cut the wood, engraved a card, or sourced perishables for your box, we can't reverse it.
Delivery
We ship Canada-wide. See our shipping pagefor rates and timing. Delivery estimates are our best guess; we can't guarantee exact times outside our control (weather, a delivery partner's hiccup).
Returns and problems
Because every box is packed for a specific recipient, we don't accept open returns. If something is damaged or wrong, see our returns page, we fix it.
Your content
When you add engraving text or a card message, you're telling us it's yours to use, no trademarked logos, no copyrighted content, nothing hateful, illegal, or defamatory. We reserve the right to decline or refund an order if content crosses that line, and we'll tell you why.
Site use
Don't break things. Don't use automated tools to flood our forms or scrape our content. Don't try to gain unauthorized access. Standard internet-citizen stuff.
Intellectual property
The brand, photography, copy, and design on this site belong to Tohfa Custom Gifts. You're welcome to share our work, just credit us and link back. Product imagery isn't licensed for resale or reuse by competing brands.
Liability
Our maximum liability for any order is the amount you paid for that order. We don't cover indirect or consequential damages (like a ruined celebration because a delivery was late). This doesn't limit rights you have under Canadian consumer protection law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes go to the courts of Vancouver, BC.
Changes
We may update these terms. The “Effective” date at the top tells you when. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept them.
